The Vision Document is a one page summary of Calvary's Core Values, Mission Statement and Vision Areas. This document forms the basis of all ministy and programs and serves as an ongoing guide for our leadership and congregation. It will be updated as necessary with an annual review by the Vestry.
Use of the following questions will help determine alignment.

o How will this mission further Calvary’s mission to be a church that proclaims to all people God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ, shares our faith, hope and love through knowledge, mission and worship, and grows and develops our community relying on our relationship with the Holy Spirit?

o How are non-Christians to be included, either by serving with or being served by, your ministry?

o Should your ministry include the entire church family (singles, married, seniors, children)?

o How will you incorporate prayer and Bible study as you do ministry?

o Vision provides focus.
Use of the following questions will help form the Mission and Vision of the Council or Team:

o Mission and Vision

o Briefly state the Vision for your council/ team - What does God desire your council/ team to look like in three years?

o As you minister, what is the desired outcome and what specific needs should be met in the lives of those you serve?

o Target

o Who will your council/ team serve and what are the important characteristics they share?

o What is the number of this population at Calvary and in the greater community?

o What information have you gathered from/about your target group regarding their needs?

o What must this ministry do to be effective in meeting these needs?

o Are these needs being met partially or entirely by another ministry? Should this mission be shared with another mission team?

o Summary

o Why is Calvary in the unique position to meet these needs (content or process)?

o Should we seek to partner with another church or ministry?
