It is our hope to nurture a spirit of faith and growth in all, from our youngest to our most experienced. This means establishing a solid, biblical foundation for our youngest, then building on that foundation in the middle years, so that as adults we can continue to grow and lead lives of faith that produce good fruits.

Won't you join us for the journey?

Rev. Mark S. Peake - Pastor
Mark is a native of Burlington, NC but grew up not too far from here in Reading, PA.

After attending Elizabthtown College, Mark headed to Boston's historic North Shore for seminary at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he met Kimberely who is a native of Santa Cruz, CA.

After time spent in California and as an associate pastor in Grosse Ile, Mi, Mark and Kimberley heard the call of the waves here along the Jersey Shore and moved to New Jersey to begin ministry at Pleasantville in May 2005.

Mark describes himself as progressively evangelical and seeks to honor God's call in a commitment to the Biblical principles of personal integrity and social justice.

So, come on out and meet The Peakes!
Wendy Cacioppo - Church Secretary
Wendy started as our Church Secretary and Office Coordinator in June of 2008. Wendy is married and has 2 pretty cool little boys. You may recognize her last name because it's the same name as Laurann Cacioppo, who is a former elder here in our congregation.

Wendy, a native of the Jersey Shore, brings a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Grove City College with her.

Wendy Staffs the office Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 2:00pm. Stop by or call and introduce yourself. 609-641-0596. Also check out her excellent advice on Longaberger Baskets!
Bob Helsabeck - Music Director
Dr. Robert Helsabeck brings a life time of music love and performance with him. Directing music here at Pleasantville for as long as any of us can remember he is a mainstay of our program. Bob is in tune not only with the best in music, but with the way Music and liturgy flow together to point us toward God.

Dr. Helsabeck is also a professor of Sociology at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Bob and his wife, Vicky live in Absecon.
